And at the end of the day your feet should be dirty, your hair messy and your eyes sparkling…

Summer has officially hit the sandpit and so has Ramadan. Today is the first day and obviously making it a bit harder to go outdoors and shoot. So technically, I do not know how I am going to be creating new content.

Have you ever experienced this? I mean, on normal days it is already so difficult to maintain a blog and an active social media presence, producing quality content, working your ass off and living a LIFE at the same time. So when you are pushed at a corner where you are limited, how do you tackle it?

Ok so you may be wondering why I am talking about this. Here’s the thing, it is summer out here in Dubai and well, when I say summer, I mean HOT. Seriously hot. I live in the desert and the temperature rise up to 50 degrees. And because this month is the holy month of Ramadan, you can’t eat and drink in public so shooting outdoors is more difficult coz in this heat, how can you not have a drink of water? OK well I can but it has to be indoors but because I am mostly out and about, it can be a challenge. Also, being a good resident, it would be nice to be a little bit more respectful so shooting outfits that are a bit too revealing can be a problem. Plus you don’t exactly want to drive attention to yourself.

It is a challenge I tell you. But of course, through the years, I have learned to work with it. Having a plan on the kind of content I want to produce, being a bit more careful with the locations I am at and making sure I shoot towards sunset so it comes close to Iftar.

Comfortably sitting on my desk trying my best to plan out this month and the content I want to produce so its easier for me. I am definitely looking forward to shooting more Vlog content this month and can’t wait to revive my Youtube Channel – it’s been ages since my last post so I seriously need to catch up. Plus, can I just say I am definitely looking forward to some amazing Iftars with friends this month.

So here is me, wishing you all a wonderful start of Summer and of course, Ramadan Kareem!!
