midweek adventures always include a little headache here and there. most are because of the weather change which technically is all good coz how can you not get excited about getting better weather in the sandpit?! so the struggle of shooting outdoors on location is slowly coming to an end. hooraahh!!

the votes have now closed up for the upcoming cosmopolitan awards and i would like to give a huge thank you to all those who have voted for me. i do appreciate it so much and although im pretty sure that i wont really win, know that in my heart, i do already feel like a winner, simply because you guys come here on the blog every single day and spend those few moments with me, as i share my life, my thoughts and my vision with you. that it itself for me is more than enough because it means i was able to capture your interest and your love. in the end, that is what blogging is all about. and im glad i get to share that with you guys!!

SHOT ON LOCATION AT THE BRIDGE

photography by princess lovella

anyways, i found this huge bridge along one of the main roads of dubai and obviously could not help but schedule a shoot there. one interesting question i got on one of my previous images is how can they produce the same image?! technically, it means that the person went to the exact same spot and shot a few images that was similar to mine but in the end, could not produce the same result. here is one little thing to keep in mind. we are all different. our style, our creativity, our skills. so no matter how much you try to mimic an image, it will never be the same. how i see the world, will never be the same as how you see it yourself. that is the beauty in being an individual. our own style, our own perspective, our own life – its all different for everyone else and that is ok. that to me, is great because how boring will it be if we are all alike?!

we build too many walls and not enough bridges…

my suggestion? take inspiration from the images that you see, the different styles that you like and from those, adapt what you can for yourself, make it your own and recreate something better, that speaks more of you. because honey, you are special and whatever you come up with, i am sure it will amazing. remember that creating something on your own, creates new bridges of opportunities. it makes us more creative, more productive, and more enthusiastic about life. and well, the best part is that it will inspire more people. so isnt that what being so much more beautiful?!

  • Thanks so much for saying this! In the bloggers’ world, it’s becoming harder and harder to stay unique; sometimes I feel like I am loosing myself in hunting for ideas and inspirations from others.
Btw, this location is simply stunning and your style is on point as always!:) Hope you are having a great day!
