I have always dreamed of wearing a saree, mainly inspired by my Indian friends and it also fascinated me, obviously because of my love for fashion.
Had the pleasure of experiencing a beautiful bandhan wedding when Radisson Blu Creek invited me to witness their video/photoshoot for the campaign. A few of my friends were “extras” and so it was double the fun for me watching them dance and act for the campaign. We ended the shoot with an evening of music, food and dance – the best part? We were all dressed up and to be honest, it was the highlight of the day and we were certainly EXTRA!
This was such a fabulous experience with my friends and definitely appreciate the team of Radission Blu Creek for the warm welcome.

A Wedding, regardless of religion, culture, or nationality, is a magical occasion which involves a lot of hardcore preparation and coordination. Weddings celebrated in Indian subcontinental countries however, are a whole different level. Apart from the usual event logistics, weddings celebrated by Indians, Pakistanis, Bangladeshis, Nepalese, and Sri Lankans, implicate numerous traditions, rituals and ancient practices. Indian weddings in particular, are known for their style, grandeur, food, rituals, and magnificence. A traditional Indian wedding lasts an average of three days – the Ganesh Pooja on the first night, followed by the mehndi & sangeet ceremonies, and then the third day, where the main ceremony, cocktail hour and reception take place. With all these rituals, logistics, and expectations in mind, the meetings & events team at the Radisson Blu Deira Creek unveils & “Bandhan” Weddings by Radisson Blu – a concept which specializes in accommodating elaborate weddings of such size, grandeur, and length.
